First-Ever GMC Sierra Denali EV Coming Soon

GMC Sierra 1500 EV | Mitchell Buick GMC | San Angelo, TX

GMC continues to push the boundaries of what can be done with electrification. Following the hit HUMMER EV, GMC will add the first-ever Sierra Denali EV to the lineup very soon.

In its first teaser image, we only get a taste of how the front of the GMC Sierra Denali EV looks. In place of a standard grille design, the Sierra EV appears to have a body-color panel surrounded by LED lights. In addition, the GMC nameplate in the center appears to glow. Bold LED headlights in the shape of an inverted L flank the center grille.

If you are ready to make the switch to electric, consider the HUMMER EV, available currently as a pickup. This rugged truck is designed to conquer the outdoors. It is available with innovative driving modes including a diagonal crabwalk and an extract mode that lifts the truck by 6 inches. Imagine the new off-road destinations you can try with innovative features like that.

For those of you who still want a traditional truck, the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 is arriving now at Mitchell Buick-GMC in San Angelo, Texas. This truck offers best-in-class diesel towing with a capacity of up to 13,000 pounds. It will also be the first pickup in its class to offer the advanced hands-free Super Cruise™ technology.

GMC will reveal the Sierra Denali EV later this year. Check back at the Mitchell Buick-GMC blog for all the details.

Super Cruise™ Technology Coming to 2022 GMC Sierra Denali

Super Cruise Tech Added To 2022 Sierra Denali | Mitchell Buick GMC | San Angelo, TX

When you think of cutting-edge innovations in automotive history, the first things that come to mind likely include the invention of the combustion engine, the advent of safety belts, and hybrid electric engine technology. The 2022 GMC Sierra Denali will mark the addition of another major milestone on that list: hands-free Super Cruise™ technology.

Super Cruise™ is a smart driver-assistance technology that uses a complex network of LiDAR mapping data, GPS information, sensors, and live cameras to make semi-autonomous hands-free cruising possible. The system can be activated on over 200,000 miles of eligible roadways across North America, which means your next commute across Texas could be much less stressful in a 2022 GMC Sierra Denali.

The 2022 GMC Sierra Denali will be one of the first vehicles from the premium brand to offer Super Cruise™, joining the exciting new HUMMER EV due this fall. GMC confirms that the latest version of the technology will add a function drivers have been pining for: the option to drive hands-free while trailering.
